The Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders held their annual Ride for Research in Forest, Florence and Marinette counties this past weekend. According to past president Mark Charlton, over 260 participants showed up along with another 200 or so friends and spouses to the spring and fall event held in Wabeno at Fireman’s Fairgrounds. The riders travel about 250 miles on dirt roads and trails, boosting the area’s economy along the way.  When Charlton was asked about the weather conditions this weekend he commented, “The trails were fantastic and a good time was had by all. The wind was great.”
