The Aurora Mudd Runs are back for another year and according to organizers this raucous celebration of muck and machines is good fun for the whole family. This annual event is a competition to find out whose specially modified vehicle is able to barrel through 200 feet of wet red clay mud.
The Mudd Run will take place this Sunday, Aug. 6 at the Aurora Ball Park at the intersection of County B and County N. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Gates open to the public at 10 a.m. and the races begin at noon. Proceeds go toward funding the Aurora-Homestead Rescue Squad.
