Mark your calendar now for the 24th Annual Fire Keeper Meno Keno Ma Ge Wen Traditional Powwow, Saturday and Sunday August 26-27. The traditional celebration of life will take place at the Carter, Wis. powwow grounds on Hwy 32, south of Wabeno.
Attendees will experience two full days of powwow dancing, drumming, singing and a chance to renew friendships, with a Grand Entry Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday at noon.
