Alcohol compliance checks show one of eight Florence County vendors sold liquor to minor

On August 14, the Florence County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Florence County Health Department conducted Underage Alcohol Compliance checks countywide at businesses who possess a Class A Liquor License, such as liquor stores or grocery stores with full liquor sales sections. The decoys are only allowed to keep a marked bill, their cell phone and their state issued driver’s license on their person.
