WD Flooring completes second home with Gary Sinise Foundation

WD Flooring and The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) have provided flooring for its second home in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment). This is the NWFA’s 19th such partnership home to be completed. The R.I.S.E. program builds custom, specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans and first responders. The home dedication for US Marine Corps Sergeant Michael Frazier took place on August 26, in Pittsboro, NC. Flooring for the project was donated by NWFA member WD Flooring.

“We are just happy that the Gary Sinise Foundation and NWFA provide the organizational structure so we can help in our own modest way to this needed, impactful and inspiring program. It’s an honor for us to be able to support these courageous warriors and their families,” said Peter Connor President of WD.
