Hometown Trolley operates their factory on parcel adjoining the Forest County Fairgrounds and owners have expressed interest in acquired land from the county for business expansion. At meetings held on Tuesday September 12, the Forest County Agricultural Society and Forest County 4H determined that the 2018 Forest County Fair will still be held at the current fairgrounds location, but discussions with Hometown Trolley will be continuing.
The Forest County Fair Committee, made up of members of the County Board, meet in the morning. Melinda Otto, Bucky Daily and Steve Bunda attended, though that was not enough make a quorum. The Forest County Agricultural Society had approximately seven representatives in attendance. Also attending was Kevin Keubler, Forest County 4H Agent.
