Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s 8th Annual Harvest Fest and Grand Opening was a great success. Approximately 600 people attended the event on Saturday, September 23. Many came to see the newly renovated Hillcrest School as well as new technology showing the great opportunities the local community has in the technical college.

Staff from NWTC, American Job Center and local industry conducted hands-on workshops that helped kids explore jobs for the future.

“We were so happy to see all of the children at this event. They enjoyed all of the hands-on science and art activities we provided. This is truly becoming a community center.” said Sally Miller-DeCremer, Regional Manager.

NWTC student artwork was on display in the café and visitors were treated to music performed by the JY Kelly Band.
