A new program that the Niagara School District hopes to purchase soon was presented to the school board at its meeting on Monday night.

Nate Burklund, school superintendent, gave a presentation on the Inspire program, designed to create a tandem environment for area businesses and graduating seniors to facilitate employment for the students.

“We are working collaboratively with school districts and businesses to purchase the Inspire program that will be used to network students and businesses,” explained Burklund. “The program is not available to us just yet, but we are hoping it will be available within the next couple of months.”
