Forest County seeks public input on possible courthouse expansion

Jill Zagar

The Forest County Board continues discussions with the Samuels Group, a commercial contracting firm selected by the county to facilitate the possible courthouse and law enforcement center expansion project.

Following a joint meeting of the Personnel, Finance and Executive Committees on Monday evening, the creation of an informational brochure and the selection of dates for informational meetings were discussed, pending approval of the hosting townships. Each meeting will be attended by county representatives and a representative of Samuels Group. The meetings are tentatively set for three consecutive Wednesdays in January at 7 p.m. Each meeting will be held at a different location in the county.
