Nine teams of hunters were out in the Long Lake area on January 6 looking for coyotes and raising money for Kids and Mentors Outdoors (KAMO). The event was the 3rd Annual Long Lake Predator Hunt and was hosted by Roadhouse 139. Eighty-two individuals participated in the hunt with eight teams using hounds and one caller team. This year it was a one-day, coyote only hunt.

Three coyotes were entered, with Townsend Hound Hunters bringing in two at 32.54 pounds and 26.41 pounds and Jonet Walkers with one at 30.93 pounds. The Townsend Hound Hunters took all three categories for cash prizes: largest, smallest and overall weight.
