On January 24, Congressman Sean Duffy, Representative for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District hosted the 5th Annual Hunger and Homeless Summit in Rothschild, Wisconsin a free public forum on the eradication of homelessness. More than 300 people attended the summit, joining Duffy in sharing ideas for combating rural poverty.
“Rural America has been forgotten and there hasn’t been a Central Wisconsin event where we talk about homelessness and hunger and bring in the secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ever– until I did it; and I am so thrilled to have an opportunity to host these types of conferences and equally excited to have so many people show up today,” Congressman Duffy said.
