Psychiatry, dentistry, engineering, military, automotive, veterinary science, and aviation were among the 19 professions represented at the second annual Career Day at Niagara Schools on Friday.

Local presenters for the event included Systems Control, Chris Weber Excavating, CSA Aviation, Veterans Administration, NWTC, Bay College, Northern Michigan University, and the Michigan National Guard, to name a few.

Sherry Petschar, guidance counselor at Niagara Schools, said she was pleased with the turnout for the event, as well as grateful for the community’s support.

“We received a grant from the Dickinson Area Community Foundation to help purchase all the things we needed to host this event,” said Petschar. “This included gift bags we purchased for our presenters at career day.”
