Olson claims Roberts Memorial trophy
Chancelor Olson won the Roberts Memorial trophy with the fastest run time of 19.07 seconds.
Ninety-eight kids between ages 6 to 14 attended ski lessons with the Granite Peak Ski Team coaching staff from Wausau Jan. 27 at Keyes Peak Ski Hill. In the afternoon, 39 skiers took the opportunity to race on the official NASTAR course set up for the Roberts Memorial Ski Races.
Receiving the Mike Roberts Memorial trophy for the fastest time of the day was 14-year-old Chancelor Olson of Green Bay, clocking in at 19.07 seconds. Second fastest time of the day, and first place in the girls category, was Paige Uren of Florence with 19.21. Times were recorded by Coach Steve “Father Time” Heller.
