City council approves curb and gutter project

Several city projects were discussed at the Crandon City Council meeting last Wednesday night March 7. The council approved the curb and gutter replacement for the Lake Avenue project. The current design of the raised curb remains in place. DOT said that they designed the current curb and gutter with the railings as a safety feature.  The city street crew and committee will be working with Mid-State Engineering firm representative, Jamie Anderson. The project will soon be out for bids and estimated to be completed by July 4 of this year.
