The process is underway to choose a new superintendent for the Crandon School District. The position has been advertised, and according to the Acting Superintendent Dr. Patrick Saunders, there have been some replies, including a couple of local people.
“I am taking it very seriously to help you pick a superintendent,” he said at the February school board workshop. He acknowledged that the district just went through a tough year, and the trust needs to be rebuilt between the school board and the public.
