On July 29 get your fresh peanut brittle at the Kentuck Day Festival in the courthouse square in Crandon.
The 2017 Forest County Chamber of Commerce Kentuck Days Festival promises something for everyone, including shopping, a 5k run, car show, live music and great food. Kentuck Days will be Saturday, July 29 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free and it is held on the Courthouse Square, Downtown Crandon.
The Kentuck Days Festival is a tribute to the roots of many residents in the Forest County area who came to settle. They were intrigued by the good wooded land that was available for logging and the country views that so resemble the Kentucky hillsides. If you feel the itch, dress like a Kentuck for the chance to win a prize. Judging will be at noon.
