114th annual Florence County Fair this weekend
If you haven’t been at the Florence County Fair in recent years, you just may be surprised at what the fair has to offer.
The 2017 Florence County Fair marks the 114th annual anniversary celebration of our family-friendly tradition. While many items and activities have changed throughout the last 114 years, one very important item has not changed. The Florence County Fair is a celebration of the many and varied talents of our Florence County residents as well as well as serving as a showcase of Florence County’s agricultural and natural resources.
In 2017, the Fair has added multiple new contests and activities, such as expanding the Mud Bog classes, adding a U.P. Garden Tractor Pullers Pull on Friday night, adding Pong! to the Friday & Saturday night schedule, just to name a few of the changes.
The Florence County Fair is constantly trying to keep costs low for those attending the fair. Admission to the Florence County Fair is free for children ages 12 and under. An admission fee of $5 is charged for people ages 13 and up, which is good for the entire three days of the fair.
