Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that runs from Oct. 23-31. This October, the Leadership Council at Crandon Middle School is promoting a community-wide Red Ribbon Walk. The goal is to have students, family and community members join forces in the promotion of being a drug free community.
The walk will begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25. It will start at the Courthouse Square in downtown Crandon and proceed to the school using the walking trail. Participants will walk together as a community that stands against drugs.
