Ladycats cinch conference title

    The Florence Ladycats volleyball team wrapped up regular season play with a 12-0 record, topping the Northern Lakes Conference and earning number one seed in the upcoming WIAA Regional Tournament. A win against Elcho Oct. 5 secured the top spot for the ‘Cats. Though Elcho gave them a run early in the season, the Ladycats were prepared and beat the Hornets in all three games by a safe margin.

Thursday was also senior night for the team, and Alicia Gehlhoff and Shayla McLain were in the spotlight.
