Crandon School District and Space reach agreement

Dorothy Kegley

The answers to what happened to middle and high school principal, Andy Space, may never be fully disclosed. The school district’s attorney, Steven C. Garbowicz and the attorney for Andy Space reached an agreement that was released last week.

The district agrees that Space was not discharged for misconduct and will not oppose his efforts to obtain unemployment compensation after June 30, 2018 if he should choose to do so. Space will remain principal until that date however, he will be on a voluntary leave of absence.  After June 30, 2018 the School Board will accept his resignation.
