The Forest County Sheriff’s Department 911 system is one step closer to reality. Josh Bradley, Jason Thuene and James Whiteaker met with the personnel, executive and finance committees on April 2. They presented their recommendation for Zuecher Technologies to purchase and install the new 911 system. The new system needs to be in place before July when the current 911 system will be outdated. The committees voted to send the request to the full board with a budget amount not to exceed $150,000.
