Niagara school board considers referendum to cover major repairs

Building needs for a projected 2019 referendum were discussed at the Niagara School Board meeting on Monday, May 21.

According to Nathaniel Burklund, superintendent, a planning project for the building grounds will begin sometime in mid-2019.

“We are getting some quotes on what we need internally, such as our heating unit, boilers and flooring,” said Burklund. “We are looking at communicating with different contractors to determine the lifespan of our heating controls and boilers.”
