Badwater Bass Tourney winners announced

“Flippin’ Fools” from Marinette, Wis., was the winning team at the July 13 Badwater Bass Tourney on the Twin Falls Flowage in Florence. Alan Baxter and Tony Marcusen registered six bass weighing a total of 14.95 pounds. They received a cash prize of $1,688. The largest single bass, a large mouth weighing 3.75 pounds, was caught by Kent Hultstrand from Iron Mountain, and netted by nephew Jacob Smith from Florence. They received a Hummingbird Helix 5 fish finder donated by event sponsor Nine Lakes Sport & Marine and a sweatshirt donated by Whisler Outdoors Sport & Bait.
