The ownership of AGI Healthcare in Crandon appears to be at a point where closure and receivership are inevitable according to Mark Ferris Executive Director of the Forest County Economic Development Partnership. Efforts over the past two weeks to secure a new owner have come to a point where negotiations are seemingly at an end. As a result of a phone call with potential new owners late Friday, Ferris stated, “AGI insists on a purchase amount that will not work for the buyer. There is such a difference in what is acceptable that the possibility is not going to happen at this time.”
