What would any festival be without music? Well, first of all, a little less festive. But seriously, who doesn’t feel a certain amount of joy when tapping your toes to a great country hit, bobbing your head to a beloved 80s rock song, or snapping your fingers to one of the great oldies but goodies? And that doesn’t include the music that compels every cell in your body to get up and dance. Even the ancient Greek philosopher Plato said, “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” In keeping with that philosophy, the Forest County Festival committee has put together a great lineup of musical entertainment for your toe-tapping, head-bobbing, finger-snapping, and body-dancing pleasure.
