After a nation-wide competition with over 2,000 apps submitted, the winners of the annual Congressional App Challenge have been chosen. Congratulations to Mac Williams of Crandon, winner from Wisconsin’s District 7. Williams is currently a freshman at Crandon High School.
Mac developed an app called “Wisconsin’s Guide to Mysterious Creatures.” His idea came from the book with the same title written by Chad Lewis. While the theme came from the book, the app provides GIS mapping, informative pages, and driving directions that could be applied to any points of interest.
